Carrie Lynn is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from the MS Gulf Coast. Her music—a mix of bluegrass, pop, country, and blues—is all about life experiences and events that happen around her, written in a way that everyone can relate to.
An accomplished musician, Carrie Lynn has taken piano, vocal, and classical guitar lessons, and she has played the mandolin for most of her life. Though she has been writing songs for years, it wasn’t a main focus until she turned 17 and joined the Mississippi Songwriters Alliance.
Carrie Lynn is the keyboard and mandolin player in the DMI All Stars Band and Delta Rox, the Madi Cooper Band out of Pascagoula, MS, and was also in concert choir at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. She has performed at several restaurants on the MS Gulf Coast such as the Hard Rock Café, Mosaic Tapas Restaurant, Presley’s Outing, Boots and Spurs, Woody’s Roadside, and many others.
Ever since Carrie Lynn picked up her first instrument there has never been a time when she hasn’t been playing music. At a very young age, Carrie Lynn knew in the back of her mind that she wanted music to be her career, and she now hopes to become a professional songwriter.
